I was so sad to read of Henry's passing. He was a good man, who always had a smile for me whenever we crossed paths. I hope the heaviness in your hearts is getting easier to bear. Thank you for sharing him with us.

My brother-in-law Henry was a regular brother to me He and Carol gave us a homein NY after we married. Later,we all moved into an old house that was made into apartments, living closely with them and their three young children, in a spirit of family love. I shall always remember Henry's sense of humor, unlike any other, for it was hard to know when he was kidding, a Janes trait. Watching Henry interact with his younger brother Myron meant Henry most always came out on top, whatever the joke was. Most of all, when you met him, you knew he was a spiritual man who loved the Lord and His creations, such as the flowers he worked with in his garden, the animal companions he loved and enjoyed, nature. His dog Buddy meant much to him. Buddy was missed terribly while Henry was hospitalized. I know Henry was a good man in this world, a good husband and dad. He left an empty place in our family that no one else could fill. We will live again with Henry and all our loved ones one day.

Henry was my brother, whom I loved dearly. I will miss him and I will see him again some day. He found out that he had a knack for crocheting when he was in a body cast for many months due to back surgery.
He was a brother who loved his family and loved the Savior and our Heavenly Father.
He had a great sense of humor and worked hard for his family.
My wife and I live in Idaho and so missed his funeral, but our hearts were there.
I was blessed in my life with two brothers and two sisters, and now only one sister and I are left.
We will miss him and are happy that is pain and suffering have gone.
We will be back someday to visit the cemetery and his loving wife, Carol Hirsch Janes.

Henry had the most loving heart, He was well respected and always ready to help anyone in any way. His ability to crochet bedspreads, afghans and doilies left me in great admiration of him. He will be missed by our family.
