I used to be a server at Scooters' restaurant in Leroy and then moved over to Tully's in Batavia. I had met Thelma and Terri back when I had first started at Scooters and I have been friends with them both ever since. I can honestly say that I have never gotten so close with customers before in my entire career, and it is truly heartbreaking to hear about Thelma. Each week, Terri would bring her into Scooters and we would sit around and talk for what seemed like hours. She was such a sweetheart and I can't imagine how painful this is for her entire family, who I knew loved her so much. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time.

Grandma Thelma was a remarkable, kind spirited, beautiful soul.I'll never forget our fun adventure to Florida! She has certainly left many warm memories for so many of us to share! She was an avid story teller - I could listen to her for hours. Her gentle words of wisdom have helped me greatly over the years.
Grandma Thelma, your legacy will forever live on through your loving, compassionate and extraordinary daughter, Terri Ann. May you bring the joy that you have given to us with you to heaven. xoxo
