Obituary of Joyce F. Trapp

Bergen ~ Joyce F. Trapp, age 61, of Bovee Road, passed away Saturday morning (January 24, 2015) at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Rochester. She was born October 22, 1953 in Rochester, a daughter of the late Gerard and Victoria Symkla Dick Jr. Joyce will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother, who had an extraordinary talent when it came to woodworking, crafts, ceramics and interior designing and decorating. She also had a love for camping and for her hummingbirds, often watching them outside her windows. She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, David J. Trapp; her children, Rachel (Bob) Newton of Orchard Park and Brian Trapp of Medford, NJ; grandchildren, Jacob and Emma Newton, Dylan and Hunter Trapp and Hope Pawlak; her sister, Suzanne (Dale) Pollinger of Greece, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addtion to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Darlene Bodensteiner on Jan. 15, 2015. Family and friends may call on Friday from 5 ~ 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy. Her funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church of Bergen, 38 S. Lake St., Bergen, with interment for family and close friends to follow in the North Chili Cemetery.
