Frank was my first political "guru" in Batavia. He was a fine man and the community is lessened by his loss. Rest in peace Frank.

So sorry to here about Frank. When he first came to the nursing home in Leroy I had a chat with him in the dining room. The more I got talking to him I said to him you look and sound very familiar. So I asked him if he ever worked at Batavia Downs and sure enough when he said yes I knew exactly where he worked and what he did. He was such a nice guy and all ways had a smile. It was so nice catching up with him from 30 years ago. I did not realize how much he has done in his life. I am so going to miss chatting with him when I go to the home. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family and of course Frank.

To the Family of Frank,
My sincere Condolences on the loss of your loved one. My late wife Dorothy was one of Frank's tablemates and friends at The Village Green. They always looked out for each other at that table. I enjoyed talking to Frank. For his service to our country I thank him. Him and the others sent their Condolences when my wife passed away and I appreciated that very much. He was a good person.

Susan. Sorry about your loss. I am a CNA that worked on the wing Frank was on at Village Green 3:00 - 11 shift. Frank and I had many conversations about many various topics. I enjoyed spending time with him. I had no idea that he had done so many things during his life. He told me about alot of them but I was surprised when I read about him. I can certainly understand that wou will miss him, and there are a few of us (empoyees) who will miss him also. I truly enjoyed the conversations we shared. Patricia

I first met Frank at WBTA where my Mother and Aunt worked. I would stop by in the afternoons after high school to visit while he did his "daily hassle of discs and data". Later, with support and encouragement from Frank, I got my chance to become a "Disc Jockey". (Sorry Frank, I meant ANNOUNCER. He detested the term "disc Jockey"!
More than just a boss to me, Frank was my mentor, big brother and friend! When my Mother was hospitalized for several weeks in Buffalo in 1969, Frank made several trips to visit her. He even donated blood for her.
I remember heading out to Genesee County Airport with Frank so he could practice stalls and other maneuvers he needed to master for his pilot's license.
I was lucky to know him! He was honest, kind and fair. I can't think of a time that he failed to say "thank you" for something I had done for him. Now, it's my turn: Thank you, Frank. Rest in Peace.
Love,
Dan (Danny) Moyles

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I remember your dad stopping me on Main St. to talk about the game that night. He was a good LeRoyan.
