Obituary of William D. Dimick

LeRoy ~ William D. Dimick, age 77, of Genesee Street, passed away early Sunday morning (July 26, 2015) at Unity Hospital in Rochester. Mr. Dimick was born November 15, 1937 In LeRoy, a son of the late Clayton and Evelyn Stokes Dimick. He will be remembered as a very hard working and dedicated family man, who worked many jobs to help his family. He also had a love for his friends and enjoyed visiting with his buddies during their "McDonalds Coffee Club" sessions. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Shirley Maida Dimick; his children, Barbara (John) Joy, John Dimick and Steve Dimick, all of LeRoy; grandchidren, Katie (Matt Morley) Joy, Michael (Haley) Joy and Jonathan Dimick; a brother, Clayton (Lois) Dimick of LeRoy, sisters-in-law, Diane Dimick of Stafford and Sylvia Dimick of LeRoy, along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Mary Papp Fuller and his brothers, Rodney and Richard. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 ~ 7 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19 north). His Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Joseph's Oratory, 27 Lake Street, LeRoy. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery will be private. The courtesy of no flowers is requested with memorials suggested to either Lake Plains Dialysis, 587 E. Main St., Batavia, NY or LeRoy Ambulance Service, P.O. Box 56, LeRoy, NY.
