My heart broke on Monday. David will FOREVER hold a special place in my heart, and I will miss him always. I'll never forget all the "adventures" we went on together, and everything David taught me. (I have been going over so many of them in my mind over the last few days, and I honestly cant come up with a favorite, because I loved them all!) Erika, each and every exchange I have been BLESSED to have with David, and your entire family, will be cherished close to my heart for my entire life, and I'll never forget the way David so completely loved all of you. My sincerest condolences, love, and prayers to you and your entire beautiful family!!
Love Much and God Bless,
Missy

I loved your boy David, I was there when he moved into his Lifetime home in LeRoy. I spent many days caring for David and going on "outings" with him and Joan!!! What a sweet young man he was. I remember the "keys" and the hugs he would give me when I walked into his room. May he rest in peace with his father now!

I worked with David for many years at LAI. If you were having a bad day,David knew how to turn that around by making you laugh. David had a loving heart. He will be greatly missed. We have another angel to watch over us now. For the family I pray for strength for you all at this time.

David was the first resident I met while working for LAI. He could put smiles on your face and laugh with you so much. I learned so much about him in my 4 years there. He was not just face I worked with,m he was a genuine soul and getting him to say my name, and play our glasses game are things dear to my heart. I will miss you so much my friend!! Until we see each other in heaven, keep them laughing with that smile!!

Erika and family,
I just wanted to let you know how very sorry I was to hear about the passing of David. Although I hadn't worked at Lifetime Assistance for quite some time, David was often in my thoughts and always in my prayers. David had a way of lighting up a room with his smile and his laughter and although David was a man of few words, his personality always shined brightly. It is never easy losing a loved one, especially so young and unexpectedly, but I hope that it brings you comfort knowing that David touched so many lives in such a positive way. David taught me compassion and patience, but most of all working with David taught me that every single person, no matter what their abilities or disabilities are, have their own special gifts to offer the world if we just take the time to see them as individuals and not a diagnosis. I am a better person for having known and worked with David and I wanted you to know this. Again I am so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
Jeri Laird
