To the Family of Mr. Wellman: I read of the loss of your dear loved one, and I would like to extend my condolences. Although it is never easy to deal with the loss of a loved one, Our Heavenly Father gives us the strength to cope. His Word assures us that He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). May your many precious memories and the peace of God, bring a measure of comfort to your grieving hearts (2 Corinthians 1:3,4; Philippians 4:6,7). Please accept my sincere condolences.

Sally and family, Many years ago, Howie was my ride to Harris. I was young, just married and did not have a vehicle that could make it from Peoria to Rochester. I really enjoyed the ride in and home, he always made me laugh. Always had a great story of you and the girls and sometimes I even road along to get the boys. Family was so important. We didn't have much heat in his little beater car, but we sure had a great time. I always considered him a good friend. I hope that the positive impact he had on my life and many others helps you to smile and laugh in this difficult time. Many prayers. Jill (McIlroy) Beagle

Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of Howard. Howard was a true gentleman who gave of his time and efforts in so many ways to the community and Pavilion School District. We could always count on Howard for a quick wit, a humorous comment and a willingness of ask the tough questions. I not only considered Howard an excellent school board member, but, more importantly, a friend. May he rest in peace and may you all be comforted knowing how many lives Howard touched in so many ways.

Howie and my former husband were stationed at NCS Guam together. When I first arrived on Guam, we stayed with him and his former wife (Linda) until the apartment next door became vacant and we moved in there. When we finally got base housing, we remained fiends. I baby sat for Jay when he was little. Thank goodness for facebook we have been able to stay in touch. I have enjoyed following him and his family through his pictures and postings. Sally, I feel as if through Howie I know you and want to let you know how sorry I am for your loss. My prayers for peace and comfort are with you at this time of sorrow. RIP Howie.

Howie and I served together on Guam. We lost contact with each other after we were transferred to different duty stations. It was only recently that we reconnected thru Facebook. I am so sorry to read of his passing. My condolences to his family and friends for a great loss.
