Billy was a very talented individual with a mind that was creative and able to conceive and plan to make something work. Such genius in the rebuilding of antique cars. I observed a steering wheel he made from poplar wood and he commented he probably had over 50 hours producing it by hand. His automobiles were beautiful and he was most gracious whenever I visited him by telling me how he put them together and letting me take many pictures of the cars and his shop. A true gentleman and a very unique talent. Rest in peace Billy.

I am so very sorry to hear of Billy's passing. He was an invaluable resource to me iin my woodworking business, and a valued friend. I loved to stop by and chat whenever I was working in the area. He was a veritable encyclopedia of information and not just in woodworking. His craftmanship was of a quality to which I aspire, but have yet to acheive. His kindness and good humor shall be sorely missed. I am a better craftsman and a better person for having had the honor of his friendship.

What wonderfully fun memories of you, Clyde and Dick. The beautiful boat, you hiding behind trees at Clyde's to scare me when Dick was working on the race car and so many other things. And your beautiful woodworking and car restoration. Thank you for being part of my life, Bill. Now you'll join the other two. Hugs and peace.

My heartfelt condolence to the family and friends of this fine man.
I met Billy at Tylers restaurant back in the mid-90's, and enjoyed many, many talks with him.
Go with peace, Billy. That was always your way.
Your friend.
