Dearest Jane and Family,
Sending my warmest heart felt sympathy to you and yours on the sudden passing of your dear father, father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. It was such a pleasure to have shared Thanksgiving dinner with him several years back. Although the time spent was short, the conversation was most memorable. It was so evident just what a true gentleman he was. My memory of him is that of an exceptionally kind, sweet soul, with such a gentle nature. All of which shine through in you Jane. The pictures you choose to share show what a zest he had for life and for the love of family. I'll end with my favorite saying from Dr. Seuss: Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened!
Warmest regards and much love,
Janet, Seth & Molly

Janie, Charlie, Mary, Joanna, Susie, Patty and Cathy - and all of your family,
I'm so very sorry for the sadness this brings to your family. Any time is difficult, but the holidays seem to touch all of us so much more.
Please know that I'll miss seeing your Dad drive down Bater Road in the warm Summer days in his convertible ... I loved knowing how much he enjoyed himself. So many memories for our families. Please know that I'm sending love and prayers for all of you and your Mom and Dad and sister in Heaven. If I can ever be of any help, please let me know or stop over.
Blessings and love.

To the Family of Mr. Longhany: I am sorry for the loss of another dear loved one. The loss of a loved one is very difficult to have to deal with, and even more so, unexpectedly. Although I do not know you personally, events in my life helps me to empathize with what you are feeling at this time. May you find comfort in remembering the wonderful promises of Our Creator (Psalms 83:18), stated at John 5:25-29 and Revelation 21:4,5. Until then, may your cherished, loving memories and the comfort from Our Creator, strengthen all of you during another very difficult time-Philippians 4:6,7,13. I respectfully extend my sincere condolences to all of you.

Jane, Charlie, Mary, Joanna, Susie, Patty & Cathy,
I am very saddened to hear of your Dad's passing. It was a blessing to know him for as long as I did. He was the only man I have ever called "Dad". It was an honor. I'll never forget his laughter, his jokes, his love for good food. He couldn't believe that someone else (me) loved maple walnut ice cream! Ha! I'm so glad that I was able to see and visit with him at Vinny and Connie's wedding in July.
The pictures posted are wonderful. How I want to remember them...loving and laughing. Enjoying life.
Love,
Mardell

Helen and I would like to extend our condolences to Charlies family. I graduated from Alfred with Charlie in 1959 and we were in the same Electrical Tech Program.
Charlie and Carol and several other friends from that class shared many good times over the years. We last saw Charlie two years ago in Florida. He really enjoyed his time there.
Although we didn't see him very often in recent years, he was a dear friend and we will miss him.
Sincerely,
Wayne & Helen Kidd
