To Scottie's family,
My belated condolences, I was surprised and saddened to come across Scottie's obituary as I was searching the internet for something else. A very unpleasant find.
I was a member of the 1956 graduating class at LeRoy Central High, and knew Scottie since she arrived in our class. She was a wonderful classmate, and a good person in later life. My aunt, Marie Rubens was in the Village Green Home for almost a decade, and she cared very much for Scottie, who often sat in her room and chatted with her. And Scottie and a few other staff members who used to visit with Marie were among the small number of people at her funeral.
I had moved to Europe in 2000, and became concerned at one point when I did not her from my beloved Marie. I called Scottie at her home, and it was from her that I learned that Marie had died.
My condolences to you, she was a wonderful person.

I was a coworker of Scottie's for approximately 5-6 months. When she announced her sudden retirement it seemed almost unbelievable because she always had so much energy and love to give to each resident. I have fond memories of her and I dancing together when special musical groups came to the Village Green. On many occasion she would assist me with smallest of tasks even up to putting wheelchairs away for the evening. I did not realize her rich past in coming to this country. My last words were to her "Keep Busy and don't get bored during retirement." She told me she would have a lot to keep her busy. Little did I know how short a time it would be. My prayers and thoughts go out to all her family and friends.

Our sincerest thoughts & prayers are with All The Graham Family. Thank you so much for sharing her life story. I was a babysitter for Scottie & Dave when they lived on Elm Street. It was a neat little home. Our family were their paper carrier in the 80's & 90's. She was a great lady who made an effort to say hello if she saw you when she was out. RIP Scottie

I was so very shocked and sorry to read of Scotties passing....I had no prior knowledge she was ill. I only came to know her this past year, as both my brother and his wife were patients at VG, she was always very accomodating, and helpful, and compassionate with all the patients......she will most certainly be missed by patients and their loved ones who have known her.... I extend
my sympathies to all her family.

Aunt Scottie (Also known as Aunt Lynne) My whole family has so many memories of her, Conesus Lake in the Summer, Holidays in Leroy, which she just loved to celebrate each and everyone of them, I know I will have her in my heart for ever. She touched so many people in so many ways! I will miss her terribly. Her smile, the way she always took my arm and asked how I was. Thank you for being apart of my life and my families! Love you for ever Aunt Scottie!
Hugs to you Uncle "D" and Sarah, Mark, Conor Rose and Krysta
You are all in our thoughts and prayers!
