Obituary of Neil J. Harris

LeRoy / Irving, TX ~ Neil J. Harris, age 59, of Clay Street, formerly of Irving, TX, passed away Saturday afternoon (February 4, 2017) at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born January 9, 1958 in Batavia, a son of Richard Harris and the late Audrey "Jean" Gardner Harris. Neil was a self-employed contractor, who was dedicated and devoted to mission work in Mexico, where he assisted in building churches. He is survived by his dad, Richard (Barbara) Harris; his siblings, Vicky Harris, Daniel Harris (Chris Otis), Paul (Debbie) Harris and Douglas (Roseanne) Harris, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Family and friends are invited to his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 1:00 P.M. at the West Middlebury Baptist Church.
