Diane, Sam, and David,
I am so sorry to hear about your father, rest his soul. I have so many wonderful memories of our parents together for many years. I think of them as I pass the Churchville exit and Normandale in Gates (just recently!). Please let me know of a service, if there has not been one yet. Prayers and love to you all! xoxo

I was fortunate enough to be Bob's "across the way" neighbor for too short a period of time. I work quite a few hours and it was always nice to come home and stop over for a friendly chat with him and his cigar (which, by the way, being the gentleman he was, he always kept at bay as not to offend). The one thing I will always remember and that no one ever did for me on my 57 years, was this. One day after work I stopped at the mail house and up pulled Bob who replied "I put a flag out in your honor!". Puzzled as I was, when I pulled up and looked to the left there in all its glory it was - A FLAG WITH A CAT ON IT! He remembered from one of our earliest conversations of my love for my two sister felines, Dottie and Teddie
I was touched and smiled the rest of the day. No more words. My sincere condolences to you, his blessed family.

Bob was our next door neighbor and good friend. We knew he'd been ill and were concerned when he didn't respond to our e-mails from FL. We just heard the sad news and want to send our condolences to his family.
Bob watered our flowers when we traveled and we would bring him cigars from places we visited. Last summer we brought him cigars from Italy like the ones he remembered his grandfather smoked. We will miss our long conversations with him sitting in his carport. We knew he was lonely without Carol and we tried to assure him he could depend on us. We had many laughs with him.
We look forward to the opportunity to extend our condolences in person at his Memorial Service.
Living in Hidden Meadows won't be the same without Bob.
