Obituary of David J. Mangefrida Sr.

Churchville ~ David J. Mangefrida Sr., age 85, formerly of Fairport, passed away Sunday morning (April 23, 2017) at Unity Hospital. He was born Feb. 5, 1932 in LeRoy, a son of the late Francesco and Josephine Lentine Mangiafridda. David will be remembered as the very loving and devoted patriarch of not only his immediate family, but also to his extended family. He lived a life of servitude, always willing to help anyone that needed it. He was also a retiree of Xerox after many years of service. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Angela Pace Mangefrida; his children, David (Karen) Mangefrida Jr., Susan (John) Beck, Nancy (Christophe) Gagnier, Michele (Keith) Moses and Monica (Lance) Trott; grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail, Arthur, Timothy, Nicole, Jamie, Christophe, Theresa, Madeleine, Marc, Cecilia, Michael, Ryan, Emily, Colin, Derek, Kevin, Connor and Victoria; 10 great-grandchildren, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. He was also predeceased by his 10 siblings. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 ~ 4 and 6 ~ 8 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.
