Obituary of Giuseppi J. Tucci

LeRoy ~ Giuseppi “Joseph” Tucci, age 92, passed away early Wednesday morning (October 18, 2017) at Premier Genesee Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation.
     He was born January 24, 1925 in Mt. Morris, N.Y., a son of the late Massimo and Immacolata Funcillo Tucci.
     Joe will be remembered as a quiet and generous man.  He was known to donate to many different charities and visit people at many local nursing and assisted living facilities.  He was a WW II Navy veteran and was assigned to the USS Chemung Navy tanker.
     He is survived by his sister-in-law, Marita Tucci of LeRoy, along with two nieces, three nephews, four great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, one great-great niece and one great-great nephew.
     He was also predeceased by his brothers, Frank, Salvatore (Anna), Anthony (Helen) and Domenic.
     There are no prior calling hours and services will be private at the convenience of his family.
     Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of choice that supports our veterans.
