Obituary of Lucile J. Smith

LeRoy ~ Lucile J. Smith, age 92, formerly of West Main Street, passed away Sunday afternoon (November 19, 2017) at the LeRoy Village Green Nursing Home.
     She was born October 7, 1925 in Otto, N.Y., a daughter of the late Joel and Henrietta Opferbeck Dunkleman.
     Mrs. Smith was a very loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed caring for them all and often bragged about her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing euchre, reading and listening to country music.
     She is survived by her children, Sharon (Peter) Wyskiel of LeRoy, Joelene (David) Forrester of Henrietta, Barbara (Edward) Foley of Batavia and Kenneth (Christine) Smith of South Carolina; her grandchildren, Tracy Moore (Brian), Timothy (Jennifer) Johnson, Bryan (Sarah) Wyskiel, Josh (Melanie) Wyskiel, Robert (Amy) Forrester, Scott Forrester (Tara), Christopher Forrester, Carrie Forrester, Edward (Allison) Foley, Shannon (Josh) Carrier, Nicole Smith, Kenneth Smith and Thomas Smith; 23 great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Smith, her grandson, Steve Wyskiel and two sisters.
     Family and friends may call on Saturday from 11 ~ 3 at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy, where her Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 P.M.  Interment will be private.
