Obituary of Louis Ferrara

LeRoy ~ Louis V.  Ferrara, age 86, of West Bergen Road, passed away Sunday evening (January 28, 2018) at the New York State Veterans Home in Batavia.

     He was born September 18, 1931 in LeRoy, a son of the late Augustus and Carrie O'Geen Ferrrara.

     Mr. Ferrara was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who was also a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during the Korean War.

     He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Mary Cordaro Ferrara; his children, Louis (Franceen) Ferrara, Karen (Douglas) Haskin and Dan (Kathy) Ferrara; his grandchildren, Ashley Ferrara, Rachel Haskin, Mary Grace Ferrara and Daniel Ferrara and his great-grandson, Brently Heale.

     Family and friends are invited to his Rite of Christian Burial on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New York State Veterans Home at Batavia, 220 Richmond Ave., Batavia, NY 14020.
