Obituary of Nancy A. Steffenella

LeRoy ~ Nancy A. Steffenella, age 81, of Myrtle Street, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (April 12, 2018) at United Memorial Medical Center in Batavia.

     She was born February 5, 1937 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Ericole and Jennie Taddei Cassiano.

     Nancy was a very caring and devoted person, who loved her family deeply.  She will be remembered as a very special wife, mother and grandmother.

     She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Angelo Steffenella; her children, David (Kris) Steffenella, Mary (Bruce) Platek, Michael (Donna) Steffenella, Sam (Brenda) Steffenella and Rosalie Steffenella; grandchildren, Tina & Joe, Tiffany & Andy, Jimmy & Michelle, Samantha & Sara, Maureen & Jeff Estabrooks, Jennifer & Scott Roblee, Olivia, Oliana & Michael Warren, Michael & Heather; great-grandchildren, Mandi & Carlie, Aaron & Austin, Jimmy, Madison & Presley, Talon & Alyssa; brother, Quito (Gerry); brother-in-law, Frank, sister-in-law, Rose; brothers-in-law, Chuck (Kathryn), Sam (Shelly), Bobby (Katie); sisters-in-law, Agnes (Dan), Eileen (Dean), Joan (Rick), Annette (Gerry), along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Josephine Mosco, brothers, James "Jimmy" and Nick, mother and father-in-law, Michael & Mary Steffenella and sister-in-law, Angie.

     Family and friends may call on Friday, June 29 from 5 - 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 30 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake Street, LeRoy.
