Obituary of Joseph F. Maloni

LeRoy ~ Joseph F. Maloni, age 75, of Summit Street, passed away unexpectedly Thursday evening (May 10, 2018) at home.

     He was born February 2, 1943 in Batavia, a son of the late Nunzio and Stella Macugowski Maloni.

     Joe retired from the LeRoy DPW and was very proud of his 30 years of service to the Village of LeRoy.  He also enjoyed travelling with his wife, Cindy.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lucinda "Cindy" Dampier Maloni; his children, Robert Maloni of LeRoy, Raequel Saeva of Batavia and Karen Maloni of Boston, MA; his grandchildren, Timothy Kelley and Daniel and Dominic Saeva; his siblings, Samuel Maloni and Dolly (Ron) Piazza, both of LeRoy; sister-in-law, Candie (Ed) Adamczak of Avon, along with many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, Joe was predeceased by his sons, Joseph, John and Nicholas.

     Services for Joe will be private at the convenience of his family and memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
