Obituary of Catherine G. Miller

LeRoy ~ Catherine "Kay" Miller, age 80, of Randall Road, passed away Sunday morning (May 13, 2018) at Strong Memorial Hospital in the loving presence of her family.

     She was born November 21, 1937 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Ellsworth and Dorothy Lindley Peck.

     Kay will be remembered as a very warm and compassionate person, who was devoted to her family and her faith.  She enjoyed baking, shopping and collecting angels, but above all else, she loved to be with her family, especially her grandchildren.

     She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Gary J. Miller Sr.; her children, Pamela Furr, Christine (Robert) Caracci, Donald (Suzanne) Furr, Cynthia Furr Miceli, Gary (Kathaleen) Miller Jr., Thomas (Carrie) Miller, Sean (Margaret) Miller and Diana (Samuel) Prinzi; 20 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret "Margie" Hameister and John Peck (Patty Lyons); sisters-in-law, Sheila Furr and Nancy Tash (John Zimber), along with many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, David A. Peck, brothers-in-law, Robert Hameister and Laney Furr, sisters-in-law, Lorraine Curry and Marilyn Pasquale and nephew, Thom Furr.

     Family and friends may call on Thursday from 3 - 8 PM at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road, LeRoy.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy, with interment to follow in St. Francis Cemetery.

     Memorials are suggested to either St. Jude Children's Hospital or Crossroads House.
