Obituary of Angela G. Mangefrida

Churchville ~ Angela Mangefrida, age 86, formerly of Fairport, passed away Monday (May 14, 2018) at Strong Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

     She was born January 18, 1932 in LeRoy, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Rose Ange Pace.

     Angela was a very loving and caring person, who was dedicated to her family.  She was known as "Mimi" and very special to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Always placing others before herself, Angela was happiest when she could help other people in any way possible.

     She is survived by her children, David (Karen) Mangefrida Jr., Susan (John) Beck, Nancy (Christophe) Gagnier, Michele (Keith) Moses and Monica (Lance) Trott; grandchildren, Benjamin, Abigail, Arthur, Timothy, Nicole, Jamie, Christophe, Thérèse, Madeleine, Marc, Cecilia, Michael, Ryan, Emily, Colin, Derek, Kevin, Connor and Victoria; 11 great-grandchildren,  along with several, nieces, nephews, cousins and her "family" of friends and staff at the Legacy.  She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, David J. Mangefrida Sr. in 2017, and seven siblings.

     Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 ~ 4 and 6 ~ 8 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
