My thoughts and prayers are with Uncle Ted's family. I have found memories of Uncle Ted fishing with me on Oatka creek and teaching me his secrets to catching Pike. He'll be missed.

I live in the village of Pavilion and have a small fenced in backyard that is along the route that Ted would travel his scooter with on nice days. In that fenced in yard I have two quite hyperactive pups that love to chase the passers by up and down the fence line until they’ve made their way out of view. Ted would purposefully drive down the fence line, turn around at the end and go back by, turn around and pass again, all the while laughing at the energy of the dogs chasing him right along and never giving up. He wasn’t teasing them, he smiled and laughed and genuinely enjoyed them. He started bringing a box of milk bones by in the basket of his scooter and he’d stop and talk to the dogs for a few minutes and toss a couple treats into the yard for them. Some days I’d sit quietly on the porch and just allow their interactions to fill my heart with Joy, some days I’d get up and walk to the fence and chat with him while holding up a dog to pet. But never was there a time that he passed that didn’t warm my heart to see him. I’ve spoken many times to my friends and family about how excited I am to see him out and about again with the passing of each long winter and express my concern for him when the weathers been nice but it’s been a couple weeks since I’ve seen him out. I am saddened by his passing and will always hold dearly the memories I have of him cruising by the house.

I’ve known Ted my entire life ! Marion watched me before I was old enough to go to school . Ted came home for lunch and the three of us ate together . They let me choose the soup .
Later in life I cut Teds hair , He use to tease me about all the bean and bacon soup he use to eat ! He had the best laugh ! I totally enjoyed my time with him . I will be forever greatfull for the love they both showed me :) He certainly will be missed .

We only knew Ted for a short time as we rented the upstairs of his house. He would either be watching baseball or playing music which we enjoyed right along with him. Sorry for your loss.
