Obituary of Tina M. Vernaccini

LeRoy ~ Tina M. Vernaccini, age 96, passed away early Thursday morning (Feb. 28, 2019) in the loving presence of her family at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.

     She was born December 21, 1922 in Rock Glen NY, a daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosa Colletti  D'Angelo.

     Tina will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, Aunt and dear friend, who enjoyed going to the casino and loved to play bingo.

     She is survived by her loving and devoted daughter, JoAnne Vernaccini of LeRoy; daughter-in-law, Bonnie Vernaccini of Batavia; grandchildren, Joseph S. (Tracey) Vernaccini, Michael S. Vernaccini and Melissa M. Vernaccini (Matt Loughry); great-grandchildren, Joseph, Carrie and Nathan Vernaccini, Troy and Kendall Loughry; sisters, Rose Carguilo of Warsaw and Lena Donovan of Batavia; sisters-in-law, Velma D'Angelo and Josephine (late Earl) Luce; brother-in-law, Steve M. (late Rose) Vernaccini, along with several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

     She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph F. Vernaccini (2003), her son, Steven J. Vernaccini (2008), her brothers Joseph J. (Jean), Anthony (Marge), Sam (Mary), Tom and Joe M. (Helen) D'Angelo; sisters, Josephine (Christopher) Yaquinto and Theresa D'Angelo; father- in-law and mother-in-law, Stefano and Patrina Vernaccini, brothers-in-law, Sam (Beatrice) and Frank (Grace) Vernaccini and sister-in-law Florence (Russell) Vinci.

     Family and friends may call on Sunday from 2 ~ 5 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Road (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  Her Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy.
