Obituary of Lloyd E. Lathan

Stafford ~ Lloyd Ernest Lathan passed away on March 20, 2019 after a brief illness.

     He was born November 21, 1929 to Fred and Mildred Hirsch Lathan.  In addition to his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 62 years, Shirley Scott Lathan; his brother, Norman (Dolores) and sister, Dorothy (Stanley, Jr.) Staba.

     He is survived by his children, Linda, Donald (Deborrah), Scott (Roxanne) and JoAnne; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence (Judy) Lathan and several nieces and nephews.

     Lloyd was a forty year employee of Lapp Insulator and was a hard worker all of his life.  He instilled that work ethic in his family.  He loved working in his yard and continued to maintain a lawn that his children wished they had.

     At Lloyd's request, there will be no calling hours and services will be private.
