Obituary of James F. Mangefrida

LeRoy ~ James F. Mangefrida, age 72, of Robbins Road, passed away at home unexpectedly on Friday, March 22, 2019.

     He was born June 29, 1946 in Batavia, a son of the late Dominic and Santa Ferrara Mangefrida.

     Jim was a loving father, grandfather and brother, who was a proud U.S. Air Force veteran.  He enjoyed golfing and meeting for coffee at the "office" with his friends.

     He is survived by his children, Bryan Mangefrida (Danielle Gallery), Thomas (Jessica) Mangefrida, Stefanie Mangefrida (Timothy Richenberg) and James (Amanda Bukowski) Mangefrida; grandchildren, Aurelia, Lyra, Ginevra and Riley; sisters, Joanne (late Rosario) DeMare and Mary (Thomas) McKenna, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.  He was predeceased by his brother, Dean Mangefrida.

     Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 2 ~ 4 and 6 ~ 8 P.M. at the Falcone Family Funeral & Cremation Service Inc., 8700 Lake Rd. (Rt. 19), LeRoy.  His Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Mercy Parish, St. Peter's Church, 44 Lake St., LeRoy. Interment with military honors will follow in St. Francis Cemetery.
