Obituary of Warren E. Ward

Batavia~ Warren E. Ward, age 90, passed away early Saturday morning (November 30, 2019) at the New York State Veterans Home at Batavia.

     He was born December 27, 1928 in Batavia, a son of the late Edward and Lillian Davis Ward.

     Warren was a proud U.S. Army veteran.

     He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Elizabeth Rumsey Ward; his daughters, Diane (Paul) Voigtmann of Irondequoit and Rita (Peter) Zarbo of Penfield; step-children, Jennie Lynn (Pat) Mooney of Cortland and Fred (Joan) Mathers of LeRoy; grandchildren, Brian Warney (Annie Locey) and Michele (Jeremy) Hewitt; step-grandchildren, Peter (Candy) Fowler, Cory (Abbygayle) Fowler, Jeffrey (Angela) Fowler, Emily (Mike) Radaker, Michael (Kate) Mathers and Rachel Sanfratello; 16 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shirley Ward of Torrance, CA; nephews, David (Sonya) Ward and Keith (Laura) Ward, along with many additional nieces and nephews in Germany.

     He was predeceased by his first wife, Ingeborg Zibis Ward and his brother, Richard Ward.

     There are no prior calling hours and interment in the Webster Union Cemetery will be private at the convenience of the family.
