Condolences to the family from Dick and Marian Davy Moore. Edward was my second cousin. Our mothers, Alice Dampier Scott and Emma Jones Davy, were first cousins. We often visited the Scott farm. Just before we moved to Michigan, we took photo copies of informatioon about Dampier Land in Australia to Edward. Also, we saw Edward and Ricky at Taste of Stafford.

I knew Ed the years I worked at the Veteran's Home. I will remember him fondly for being such a kind-hearted and humorous man. Always with a warm smile on his face. Until we meet again Sir...

I remember Mr. Scott mostly when Sue and I were young. I spent many days there and sometimes we would do things that we probably shouldn’t have. A few years ago when I was visiting, we told him about one thing in particular, thinking that we were telling him something he didn’t know. He just smiled at us with a twinkle in his eye. He knew all along and never let on. That’s how I remember him now - with a twinkle in his eye. He was such a kind and gentle man.
