Goodbye my friend. I can't believe that I won't be hearing from you anymore. Seeing your sweet face brought it all home. Hope you are resting comfortably with your feet up and a cold or hot drink by your side. God bless. I hope we meet again. Love, Linda Williams

I didn’t know Sharon...but she shared my passion for the Kansas City Chiefs, as well as the American Red Cross. I live in Kansas City, and I’ve been a volunteer with the Red Cross for over 15 years. Sharon’s passing came across my newsfeed because of those key words “Chiefs” - and Red Cross. I was curious, and so I read her obituary, and she sounded like an amazing person who gave selflessly of herself. My condolences to her friends and family - and I am so thankful that after 50 years, the Chiefs had a Super Bowl victory last February, which I’m sure made Sharon’s day. Again, prayers to all of you....

There are few people in life who have the abundance of love and laughter that Sharon had. She always saw the cup half full and had precision wit, just like her Mom Dorothy. Her extended family in Maryland, of which I am blessed to be a part, loved being with her to hear her stories and laughter of past family times and present friendships. The miles between us did not allow for enough time together, but she was never forgotten with her warm smile and loving embrace. She so loved her sister Sheila and family, who were devoted to her.
Thank you Sharon for loving life beyond the trials, troubles and failings it always presented and blessing us all with sunshine to see beyond it.

I was so saddened to hear of Sharon's passing. I was very much looking forward to a planned lunch with Sharon after this Covid thing was over and our "Thinking of You" card exchange. You will be deeply missed by my parents and myself. You are forever in my thoughts. I will miss you terribly. Your God-Daughter, Kelly Hyde-Herold.

Sorry to Sharon's family. Sharon and I were neighbors on Church Street for several years and visited from each other's front porches. I knew she liked cats, each taking turns at her window looking over to my house. Sharon posted on Facebook kind and thoughtful ones, and ones in support of our veterans and military. I'm sure her friends and close-knit family will miss her greatly. Sincerely, Doug Hill
