Gail was always a warm and gentle person who had a smile or something nice to say to everyone. She was our membership chair for a decade at the Astronomy Section of the Rochester Academy of Science.and therefore she knew everyone and everyone knew and loved her. So sorry to hear she’s gone to the stars so soon. Rest In Peace Mark Minarich ASRAS President

We were saddened to learn of Gail’s passing. She was a strong and caring woman despite, or in her case, in spite of the many challenges she faced in her life. On behalf of the Schirmer cousins, we’d like to extend our condolences to Gail’s children and grandchildren. We loved her and will miss her greatly. Rest In Peace Gail. Tricia, Eric and Sarah Bacon

Hello children of Gail; I knew Gail since grammar school St.Joseph's and High School Notre Dame... Graduating St.Joe's in 1963 and Notre Dame in 1967. Gail was always very pleasant and we used to joke around all the time. I did talk on the phone with her a few years ago; when some of my classmates and I were planning for our 50th Class reunion. I wish she would have stopped by; It would have been nice to hash over old times again. I will always think of her with very pleasant thoughts.... Joe Pero' Batavia NY
