To Mary's children and grandchildren, I was so saddened to hear of Mary's passing. The Bells were great neighbors to all the Herrons on Lincoln Avenue, and Mary was there to help when my mom had her accident and many other times too. I loved her visits with Kenny to my mom's kitchen--great fun!! My thoughts and prayers are with you. Beth Herron Cahaney

Mike, Sue and Greg
It is with a heavy heart that I write this note to express my condolences to you and your family. Both LeeAnne and I have a heavy heart to say that we won't be able to attend the Ceremony or the showing as we have plans to leave Leroy on Thursday to go to a Yankee game in NYC. We are taking my granddaughter and friend to the game on Saturday afternoon. Ma Bell would give us one of her famous sayings DAMN Yankees! I had to clean that one up a up a little. I will never forget how she would tell me to F... Off and when LeeAnne heard her the first time she would not believe I would let her get away with that I could go on with more stories but I will keep those memories and cherish the time I had with her. LeeAnne and I send our prayers and thoughts to your family.

Mary's Family;
Mary was a great woman, she will be missed dearly. I have missed her very much since her retirement. Mary and Marie Gannon trained me in the summer of 1991 how to be a dispatcher (many say she also gave me her attitude). I learned so much over the years from Mary about how to treat people and how to be honest but sincere and how to treat people like you wanted to be treated. Mary was brutally honest sometimes but got her point across. We need more people like her in public service and the world. She was a mentor and helped to mold many people.
I am unable to make her calling hours and funeral as I am in the Southern United States looking for a new career.
Rest in peace Mary and don't nag Ken to much or he may send you back. :-) - To Mary's family me deepest sympathy to you at your time of loss of such a special lady!
Dan
