This incredible Lady was a total pleasure to take of for the last 6 years.
She did stay on the most part very healthy for her advanced years
Just in the past few weeks shortly after her 104th Birthday on October 17th did she start to feel like not her best self
My Brother Jim, his wife Karen & myself (as per her specific instructions) had the pleasure to be able to place her safely with the love of her life Michael in Batavia this past Wednesday
Many many thanks from the Gallagher Family to all her wonderful friends in LeRoy & at Fleming Point Senior Living in Greece where She resided for the last 3 years
Again a special thanks to the Vern Falcone Funeral Family for making this entire transition such a peaceful pleasure
Aunt Rita we will all miss your gorgeous smile great sense of humor & Roxy will especially miss all the super treats she received from you every week when we came to visit.
Much love to you sweetheart and Rest In Peace you sooooo deserve it.

Mary Beth (Conlon) Winter posted a condolence
Friday, November 8, 2019
To the family and friends of Rita Lynch--from Mary Beth (Conlon) Winter--daughter of Bud. I actually had no idea Rita was still with us--My parents passed away in 2008 and I've been in North Carolina since 1983. I have wonderful memories of Rita and Mike. I was fifteen or sixteen when my parents finally allowed me to get my ears pierced. I'm now 64 (ugh) and I still have a pair of pierced earrings Rita gave me at that time.I actually wear them frequently and think of her each time I do. When I had to spend time at the station I would spend it with Rita and she always made it fun. I wish I had taken a photo with her back then. I hope her later years were without serious illness. I'm hoping she's now reunited with Mike and all the LeRoy friends who went before her.
